Honeymoon Day 14: Queenstown to Te Anau

Queenstown to Te Anau was another day of driving in average weather. Te Anau is a small little town and essentially its main boast is that its the nearest civilisation to either Milford or Doubtful Sound and has the largest lake in South Island. Our purpose of Te Anau was to go to the the famed Milford Sound.  Upon arriving at Te Anau we were pretty much over the weather. The only thing that got us out of the apartment block (apart from dinner at a great little Italian joint) was me whinging that I would have a day missing from my photo files (turns out I missed a day later anyways). Oh well. We had a nice walk along the foreshore of the lake and I got my cliche red boat shot. Not quite the bright white sands and aqua water of norm, but here it is. (1ds, 17-40, f8, 1/125).

The next shot for today was another reflection shot. Sure your getting bored, but I was getting desperate! (1ds, 17-40, f8, 1/250).
